We source our core ingredients within 15 miles of our head office in Hayle, keeping our supply chain local and our flavours authentic. That means using beef from trusted local suppliers, fresh potatoes, swede and onions grown nearby, and pastry made to our traditional specification, with no unnecessary substitutes or shortcuts at any stage.

Hand-Crimped by Our Bakers in Cornwall
Hand-crimping is a skill passed down through generations of Cornish bakers, and it’s one we’ve been proud to practise since 1958. Long before machines were involved, the crimp was formed by hand along the edge of the pastry to seal in the filling and give each pasty its distinctive shape, a mark of care, craft and tradition.
We still follow that same method today. Each pasty is shaped and crimped by hand in Cornwall, just as it always has been, preserving the look, texture and character of a proper Cornish pasty.
