At Philps Bakery, we’ve spent decades perfecting the art of the Cornish pasty — and we still make them the same way our family has since 1958.

Every morning at our production site in Hayle, our bakers hand‑make and hand‑crimp each pasty using traditional methods and recipes passed down through generations. We use only quality local ingredients, and everything is baked fresh daily to keep that legendary Philps flavour exactly as it should be.

And let’s talk about size — because our customers certainly do. Philp's pasties are famously huge, packed with big chunks of steak and a hearty filling that gives you that proper Cornish satisfaction from the very first bite. For those who can’t make it to Cornwall, we offer Philp's Pasties by Post — the same generously sized pasties you know and love, delivered straight to your door. Our postal pasties are made fresh every morning, baked and dispatched the same day, with care so they arrive in top condition. We only use premium ingredients, and the pasties are packed securely to maintain freshness and quality during transit.

Christmas Flavours

Christmas Dinner Pasty

A full roast in every bite. This pasty wraps up the best bits of Christmas dinner - succulent turkey, sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, and a big spoonful of chicken gravy - all nestled among traditional pasty veg (potato, swede and onion). Seasoned with cracked black pepper and a pinch of festivity, it's Christmas lunch, Cornish style.

 

Vegan Xmas Pasty

Plant-powered and properly festive. This vegan twist features traditional sage and onion stuffing, our signature potatoes, swede and onion, as well as a generous swirl of cranberry sauce - for seasonal sweetness. Finished with cracked black pepper and flaky pastry, it's proof that Christmas cheer doesn't need meat - or compromise.

 

Festive Pig Pasty


Our take on pigs in blankets, pasty-fied. Packed with sausage meat, back bacon, leeks, and our classic pasty veg, this flavour is rich, savoury, and unapologetically indulgent. Hand-crimped and seasoned with salt and black pepper, it's the kind of pasty that disappears before Santa has even arrived.

 

Cauliflower Cheese Pasty

Back by popular demand, and cheesier than ever. Creamy cauliflower meets extra mature cheddar from our favourite farmers just up the road. Balanced with swede, potato and onion, this pasty is rich, comforting and hand-crimped with love. A festive hug (specifically for vegetarians or cheese lovers in general) in pastry form.
